HUNTER OF THE WEEK - RAYNE

Ok, folks, we finally have a new hunter of the week. It's Rayne star of the video games Bloodrayne and the unimaginatively named Bloodrayne 2.

Rayne is a scantily clad Dhampire who not only kills vampires but Nazis as well. She is an agent of The Brimstone Society, an organization closely associated with the Guild.

I've only played the first game but I quite liked it. She kills the bad guys with nifty blades and other weapons or her teeth.

And now it's Good News/Bad News time. There is a Bloodrayne movie coming out soon.

The Good News- It features some decent actors such as Ben Kingsly, Geraldine Chaplain, Billy Zane, Michael Madsen, Michael Paré, Udo Kier, and Meatloaf. (The lead is Kristanna Loken, whom I am not familiar with.)

The Bad News- Very very bad news indeed. The director is Uwe Boll. Boll was responsible for past crapburgers House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark. He will be resposible for future crapburgers In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, Hunter: The Reckoning, Far Cry, Postal, and Fear Effect. Aparently he is now the guy to go to if you want to make a bad movie based on a video game.

HUNTER OF THE WEEK

Ok, I know I've gotten behind on the Hunter of the Week. The simple fact is that I'm running out of hunters. Sure I could list every Buffy and Angel character one by one, but where's the fun in that? So, why don't you folks send me some suggestions? Maybe there'll be a prize if I use your suggestion.
