A sad day for the Guild.

Darren McGavin, best known among hunters for his portrayal of hall-of-famer Carl "The Night Stalker" Kolchak, died at approximately 7:10 A.M. Pacific time, Saturday 25, 2006, according to his official website.

HUNTER OF THE WEEK - ME!

That's right, ME! Since no one else has bothered to send in a picture of themselves in their hunting gear, here's me. I declare myself Hunter of the Week and award myself a prize.

Tool Update

Jonathon "The Tool" Sharkey, sorry I mean "The Impaler", is of course fighting his extradition to Indiana. His hearing is scheduled for Feb. 21, after which we are sure this sad loser will be packed off to Indiana to face charges of stalking and escape.

Blade TV Series

In case you haven't heard, Spike TV is producing a Blade television series. Snipes declined to participate, so the new Blade is one Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones (pictured at left.)

Jones is a rapper and actor whose films include Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood and House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim.

The Blade two hour tv movie/pilot should be airing sometime this summer.

Lestat the Musical- Is there anything gayer than this?

Start with the very fey vampire Lestat. Turn his story into a musical. Get Elton John and Bernie Taupin to write the music. What do you get? Quite posible the gayest thing ever! (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Apparently what you do not get is quality theater, according to reviewers who saw the show during it's San Francisco run. But don't worry, before the show hits Broadway on March 25th it's going to be...
